Nice job with the info. I appreciate it, though I guess posts will be few and far between on this thread.

All three NKY reps played well.

Henderson looked good running the point and had a few nice assists.

Mcgraw was his normal self with the rock and shooting. I wish he would have gotten a little more PT though. This kid is going to be a steal for whoever gets his services.

Tonight was my first time seeing the Gagel kid and he's the real deal. Very smooth jumper.

The Ohio team was just too big down low. Frease was very tough both offensively and defensively.

Does anyone know why Landon Sloan didn't play? I was looking forward to seeing him. Did his omittal from the roster open the door for McGraw? If so, I was satified with this replacement. It was good to see McGraw prove to the college scouts that he belonged too. It would have been a shame if he had gone unnoticed with the season's end, and this also gave him a nice opportunity to show his stuff one last time which should likely increase his offers. I think that his poised leadership qualities were well displayed and whoever gets him is getting a good one. :thumb:

I thought Tevor Setty was going to play, does anyone know why he didn't?

Mr. Setty did play.....He played about as bad as you could play. He must of went 0 for 15...The kid couldn't make a shot to save his life...

Setty actually started but went I think 0-8 from 3 and 0-9 overall. Really had a lot of pretty good looks considering there's no defense being played, just couldn't get them to fall. The last one he shot couldn't have possibly gone farther down in the bucket and rattled out, and by then he seemed pretty bummed out. It's a shame but that's how it goes when you're a shooter. If they played it all over again he could come out and knock down 7/8 or something.

Couple other observations...

You wouldn't tell by looking at the roster, but it seemed that Ohio just had that much more size inside, of course it didn't hurt that Frease is an absolute behemoth...

I could barely keep up with scoring, let alone rebounds, but I'd venture to say Kentucky got killed on the glass...

I'd been looking forward to seeing Hitchens after hearing about him from friends at home while he owned my alma mater the last few years and won a state title this year. The kid really came off as cocky and did an awful lot of jawing for an all-star game, but at the same time, a guy I'd love to have on my team. Relentless defensively and could get in your head pretty quick if you're on the opposing team...

Both MVPs looked good (obviously, or they wouldn't be MVPs), Gagel knocked down some big time shots and Eargle looked really smooth for a 6-7 kid. He had one shot where (I didn't have the best angle but) it looked like the defender got a piece of it on the way up and he ends up shooting it left handed and sinks it from about 15'...

Are there any video highlights clips of this game anywhere? Missed the news last night. Thanks.

Both teams practiced at NKU on Friday and I walked through the beginning of the Ohio practice and near the end of the Kentucky practice when I was going to do study hall hours and then going back to class. Just in the few seconds that I saw each team, I could tell that the Ohio team was more athletic than the Kentucky team.

And the third NKY rep, Sorrell, had both assists on McGraw's threes and rebounded well. Also won the 1 on 1 competition & runnerup in the 3 pt.Great to see all three finally play together.

I would have liked to see Henderson, Sorrell, and Mcgraw on the floor all at the same time. I think it would have been nice to see a Mcgraw to Henderson alley oop.

Sorrell indeed did play well and represented nky well in not only the all star game but also the pre game festivities that you eluded to.

Last update was that Gagel had no offers at this point. Any recruiting news?

Anybody have a list of where these kids are going to school?
