Ohio 113 Kentucky 89

I can tell you Sorrell is going to NKU from the Kentucky roster. And Kenny Frease, the seven-footer on the Ohio roster, is going to Xavier U.

I was surprised to see how many of the young men from last night were still undecided. There were several players from both teams who could play at the D1 level whether it be D1-AA or small to mid major D1-A

Mr. Setty did play.....He played about as bad as you could play. He must of went 0 for 15...The kid couldn't make a shot to save his life...

I saw this game also. It's funny, why is Trevor Setty the only kid from Kentucky to be called out as playing bad? I really didn't see anyone wearing blue play very good. There was NOTHING exciting about this game at all!

Why did all the boys who can play, not play? Ky played their B Team.

Does Ohio class basketball?

YES.

Does Ohio class basketball?

6 classes 6 being the largest

Setty probably headed down the Mason County pipeline to Pikeville with Jarrod Litzinger after this game. Anyone know what happened to Sloane? and did Stepp do anything in this game that shows he could walk on at UK?

Lets see if I can answer your question correctly with questions,

What school did the 5-10 shooting guard that won MVP for Kentucky come from? Who was and where was the coach for the Kentucky team from?

This isn't a all-star game that attracts the big names. Occassionally you will get some top players, but more than anything this game is a last chance show case for uncomitted players.

J'town to answer both. He also won the three pt contest and the head coach won the KY STATE CHAMPIONSHIP last yr.

I have been told that this game has more players playing in college and in the NBA than the KY/IN all star game and also the North/South game played in OH. Anyone know this for a fact?

Highlighted: nothing at all wrong w/this IMO. Obviously, if anyone of you were there at these games know and realize that these teams may not be the top 15 players from each state but each player is an ALL STAR in their own right in one way or another. It is tremendously hard to gather all the best at one time(except McDonald game and then I am sure there are some of us who know of a few better playes than what is on TV:thumb:) due to other committments but let's not put down any of these fine athletes for coming and competing.

It's a runnin and gunnin type of deal with very little defense where everyone tries to impress. Waste of time and money IMO.

D1-AA only exists in football, there is no such thing in basketball. That is why there are only 100+ football teams and 300+ basketball teams.

High schoolers are limited on the number of All-Star games they can play while the school year is still in session. If they play too many, they can be ineligible for a certain amount of games their freshman year.
