It's that time of year. All Summer long, we wait for the first kick off, live through a season that we do what we expected, overacheived, fell on our faces or had that once-in-a-lifetime-special team, but, sooner or later, to all but a handful of teams, it's over.

 

How soon after your favorite team goes out for the year does your interest start to wane or go away all together???

 

I'm normally hanging in there until my team's rivals are out and the teams from the district and our geographic region are gone, then it's pretty much over for me. Let the chips fall where they may.

Not totally, but rather quickly!

I follow through all the way to the finals.

I still keep up, don't get me wrong, but no where near the level I did before. Depending on how it plays out. Sometimes I don't care at all by the finals.

I follow it pretty intensely even after Garrard County is eliminated. I try to get to a game every weekend (usually something is close by) and always make the trip to the state finals. I hate that it has to end!

Sometimes it feels like someone has died when it ends.

I keep track, but with nowhere near the interest as when my team is playing.

I follow through to the finals.

On the drive home.

I tend to follow it to the finals and if a team from nky is still in it i might go to the finals!

I try to attend all the final games each year if I can. It is a great day of high school football.

I tend to follow through to the finals, at least through internet or radio, but it's hard not to turn immediately to basketball season.

I don't miss a week and stay all week in Louisville waiting for the games to start.
