ON the game, the bottom line is HHS better not come out tight and conservative. Open it up, go with what got you there and let he talent play out. Go Birds !!!

Everybody bailed you out on that one. Nice try though! Always looking to get it started. On to the game. I talked with a baller from CovCath tonight and he said the football players are very confident that they will win. Not that they shouldn't be right. Looks like this game will be a dandy. I see a HHS victory. Everybody talking on here about how good CCH has gotten since the last game, but has anyone noticed that HHS went undefeated. I would say that they too have gotten a lot better. I heard tickets will be hard to get by end of week.

 

Nobody is criticizing Highlands either. I think anyone who thinks Highlands hasn't gotten better with each game is a fool. CCH respects Highlands for who they are, the best team in NKY, and probably the best in 5A. The best team does not always win. CCH has made great progress in all areas since the beginning of the season. CCH should feel confident that they can pull off an upset.

Not a big surprise about tickets. How many people can Highlands fit into their stadium?

On a side note, I am glad to see this game being played at Highlands. I use to love when we played there. IMO there is no better atmosphere in NKY.The closeness of the stands on one side, the school on the other is awesome. The fans are always classy.

Yes you all say that all Cov Cath fans are talking about is how we got so much better but we have also played a much more tough schedule than the Bluebirds. The talk was about how bad the offense was and now the offense seems to be doing pretty good. The offensive line of Cov. Cath. has improved immensely from the last time Highlands and Cov Cath played, and the personel on the different sides of the ball have changed a bit.

I would think you would be a CovCath fan since their fullback and leading rusher for the year, Kyle Furnish, bears a striking resemblence to your BGP namesake which earned him the nickname Tony Danza as well.

Yes. They will be broadcasting.

This game, IMO, comes down to how well Highlands plays. Cov Cath has been playing very well the past few weeks, but I still see Highlands being too strong for them in the 3rd and 4th quater.

I think that the difference will be the inability of CCH to stretch the field with their passing game. With Highlands speed, I just don't think that CCH will be able to pound it on them the whole game. CCH is going to have to be able to have a passing game and to me, I just think that they are too inconsistent.

Don't think it is an inability to stretch field just an unwillingness to try to stretch the field by the coaching staff. Haven't made all the games but the ones I have the QB seems to have a strong arm--sometimes tries to make something out of nothing but seems to be making better decisions as season goes on but still needs to work on it. If the QB and receivers step it up, HHS could have their hands full which would open up the running for Buckley and Furnish.
