Well there is sort of a level of confidence that comes with winning 11 games this year even if it is CovCath. Don't worry, the birds won't get caught looking past you guys like they did last year!!!!

Yes you all say that all Cov Cath fans are talking about is how we got so much better but we have also played a much more tough schedule than the Bluebirds. The talk was about how bad the offense was and now the offense seems to be doing pretty good. The offensive line of Cov. Cath. has improved immensely from the last time Highlands and Cov Cath played, and the personel on the different sides of the ball have changed a bit.

I don't see the CovCath schedule being "much more tough" with the possible exception of St X. CovCath was only 2 (a KY Class A team and and OH 5-4 D II team)-3 against non-district teams while the Birds went 5-0.

 

Secondly, your statement about CovCath improvement discounts the fact that Highlands just might have improved just a little and made a few changes since the first meeting.

Boom, HHS didn't look past CovCath last year, CovCath just had a better Football team....

and basketball team, and swimming team, and baseball team, and track team, and cross country team and bowling team...

This your first CCH/HHS playoff game?

Just got done watching the Don Weber pregame show. Hey Don, HHS and CCH are playing in 5a this year, not 3a. He even preveiwed them as a 3a matchup before the 4a matchup. I have seen it all!!!! I know it's not that big of deal but i just think it was funny.

I seem to remember CovCath also playing LaSalle this year. The same LaSalle who embarrased Henry Clay in Lexington two weeks later. Not that it matters, but LaSalle, Elder, and Louisville X are probably stronger than anyone Highlands faced this year.
