  1. Okay, I over-reacted a bit last night and you veterans put me in my place. Congratulations Birds and good luck down state. Clearly the better team, coach and program won. Coach Brossart is a first class individual and I have great respect for him. I am also in the minority of CCH fans who believes Coach Mueller is a great guy. I do believe that the current CCH staff is in over their heads and this regime will probably never beat Highlands and never win state.
  2. Many of the student shouted profanity and insults at the team while walking along the visitor side. Several of the bird players and fans walked very close to the CCH huddle well after the game while the team was praying and talking and yelled very loudly and obnoxiously. We walked out next to a bird player shouting loudly about how great it was to see the CCH players crying. The multiple cannon shots after the game seemed a bit over the top. The coach clearly tried to run up the score. You have a great program, but these "little things" are classless and not needed.
  3. CovCath was a total embarrassment. CCH coaching staff is a complete joke. Highland's was better from top to bottom except for the fans. Dale Mueller is a great coach with a great program. But, he and the birds fans need to learn sportmanship and how to win with class. Good luck down state.
  4. BB is not the only change from the first meeting. I believe Furnish had only one carry in the first game, so basically CovCath has 2 huge upgrades at RB since then. Dixie will not be able to stop the blue Colonels improved offense. CovCath D will hold Dixie in check if D co-ordinator can "get his head out of his arsenal" and keep his best 11 on the field (including Furnish). CCH 28 Dix 21
  5. Isler did not play, QB split between Furnish and Shulte. Buckley looked good.
  6. Dixie will win by 30+ as will CovCath. Whatever turd Dixie laid against Holmes was a fluke.
  7. You 'birds fans may be interested to know that probably the best player and best athlete in the NKYFL from the Ft. Mitchell Spartans (#28) is said to be attending your school in fall of '08. Family supposedly just bought a house in Ft. Thomas. Many Dixie & Beechwood faithful will be "truely" sad and jealous.
  8. The smart money should be on Furnish. He is the only player that will give this team a real chance of winning. Isler has very little pocket presence and no scrambling/running ability and no real experience. He will not be ready this year. Furnish is a composed athlete and leader with a good arm and excellent speed. He is really the only option. Wehry will be the best choice for backup.
  9. I think a reigning state champ is not a good fit for a first-time head coach. Too many expectations and too much at stake for the school. CCH needs to find a head coach with head coaching experience, not Roedig or Wirth. That being said, I would love to see what the Def Co-ordinator (Haupman?) would do as head coach.
