I think that the difference will be the inability of CCH to stretch the field with their passing game. With Highlands speed, I just don't think that CCH will be able to pound it on them the whole game. CCH is going to have to be able to have a passing game and to me, I just think that they are too inconsistent.

Technically, due to the KHSAA forfeits from the Mitchell saga, CCH "won" that game 1-0 (just as CCH "won" the regular season game 1-0). The score of the game (on the field, at least) was indeed 18-0 HHS.

Another two cents worth:

Haven't seen HHS in a while, but I thought they looked real average in the first CCH game, I'd say it was more of they lost it vs CCH won it imo.

Anyway, for CCH this week:

They are much improved, (though the baseline was pretty ugly early);

Van Sant is a difference maker on D and he was not in the first match; Buckley is a difference maker on O and he was not in the first game;

The Colonels have shown a lot more grit than some expected several weeks ago with respectful showings against some teams who (on paper) should have rolled them up;

I think they will make this one memorable and exciting...for a while....just don't know if the passing game has improved enough to keep the Birds on their heals for 4 quarters? Anyway, I'm rooting for an upset, but I'm thinking this will get a little lopsided by the end of the third.

I would think you would be a CovCath fan since their fullback and leading rusher for the year, Kyle Furnish, bears a striking resemblence to your BGP namesake which earned him the nickname Tony Danza as well.

I do think that CCH is going to try to establish the running game against Highlands. 50% completion on 200 attempts for 1250 yards for the season may not be earth shattering numbers, but I would not say that CCH is not able to pass the ball consistantly. I do not want to see a bunch of long bombs from CCH, but I would expect to see the passing game used to compliment the running game and keep Highlands defense honest.

Everybody bailed you out on that one. Nice try though! Always looking to get it started. On to the game. I talked with a baller from CovCath tonight and he said the football players are very confident that they will win. Not that they shouldn't be right. Looks like this game will be a dandy. I see a HHS victory. Everybody talking on here about how good CCH has gotten since the last game, but has anyone noticed that HHS went undefeated. I would say that they too have gotten a lot better. I heard tickets will be hard to get by end of week.
