They really don't need to use it with their running game doing as well as it has. I hope Cov Cath over loads the box again and makes Highlands mix it up more than they did the last game. I think Highlands needs a game like this against Cov Cath and we are looking forward to it!!!

CC should be proud of their last several games but the Birds D is a lot tougher than the D they faced at Dixie and the Birds are far superior to the Red Colonels on Offense. CC has gelled into a good team. Highlands is a great team. Great teams beat good teams when the chips are on the line. Highlands wins this one 35-10.

I was mentioning to someone today that all is right in NKY when you have CCH and HHS going at it in the playoffs. Maybe its just me but I want CCH to either beat HHS in the playoffs or have HHS be the team that knocks them out. Anything else leaves a bitter taste.

I agree. As a CCH fan, advancing without having to beat Highlands would be almost like not totally earning it.

It always a great week when it's Highlands week, and I think the fans in Ft. Thomas feel the same way, and that is what makes this and any CovCath vs HHS game so great! Both shools respect and most really like each other, at least away from the game . I do know that whoever wins this game, I will be rooting for to take the State 5A title.

For whatever reason some of the faithfull Bluebird fan's were not sure who to go for in the CCH/Dixie game. They wanted a CCH win.

The reason may be a loyalty to "one of their own" in Tom Spritzky...or as USER NAME inferred...it's almost like it's not earned of you don't knock off CC. But truly...in FT.T it's not how...but how many. And 17 is in sight!!

What's up oldguy? I've noticed a few posts on here where you actually name "The Team from Fort Thomas". Did I miss something? BTW your post is dead on. It's a little odd for me since most of my older brothers attended CCH but my kids go to Highlands. Always makes for an interesting Thanksgiving.
