Lawrence County won the game 12 to 10. Ashland missed a 20 yard field goal try with 5 seconds left. Great game!

How did Chandler Shepherd look?

The Sheppard kid is an amazing athlete. He made some great throws and had two touchdown passes during the game. He also had some QB keepers and a couple of unplanned scrambles for good yardage during the game. He did try to force a throw with about 5 minutes left in the game and Lawrence County up 12-10 and was picked off in the end aone by the Delaney kid from Ashland. Ashland then when on a 60-70 yard drive to get in position for the field goal try. I watched the Sheppard kid play little league baseball and was totally impressed with his ability on the baseball diamond. Yesterday was the first time I had actually watched him play on the football field. I believe Lawrence County fans have something special and should enjoy watchimg him the next four years.

He is a stud baseball player. I haven't seen him play football, but I am sure he is extremely talented.

He won mvp of 57th district baseball tournament as an 8th grader. In JV game Monday I believe he threw for 3 touchdowns and ran one in.

Sounds like an exciting game.
