I can't believe noone with children has said that the toilet paper wall fixture has been yanked off of their wall so many times that the roll now sits independently, on its side, at a convenient spot near the commode. Welcome to the Hotel Hearsay.

 

I have solved the centuries old question of which way the paper should hang.

Towel rack for Little Buck last week. He tried to do a chin up on it.

This is the only way ( my hubby doesn't care ).

Not on a holder / roll - sits on the back of the toilet.

True. But I think normally it is behind for me.

Another one of my pet peeves. The paper hangs IN THE FRONT!!!

If you have toddlers or even house pets, you will discover that if the paper hangs in the front, they can unroll it all in a hurry by playing with it. But if you hang it in the back, when they roll the paper, it won't unroll.

 

So that is why I have a habit of hanging it in the back.

Not on a holder / roll - sits on the back of the toilet.

I would be happy if anyone in my house actually tried the complicated task of putting toilet paper on a holder. So far, I seem to be the only one qualified for such high tech work.:lol:

Here are my toilet paper pet peaves...

 

1. Comercials show how great toilet paper is because it can suck up blue water, whopee crap. I want to see a comercial where the toilet paper can wipe peanutbutter out of a crack between two ham's without ripping, now that would impress me and influence my buying decision. :dancingpa

 

2. Finger push through, I hate it when toilet paper gives way and finger goes through the paper. :thumb:

BTW, I'm in the minority - I like mine in the back. Don't know why.

In The Back.

It's in the back at our house, and for what some would say an odd reason.

 

We've always had at least one cat in the house (currently three); and invariably one of them will do one of those "mice running in a cage" things with the toilet paper. Standing on its back legs, the cat will bat at the roll of paper. If the paper hangs over the front, the cat will manage to unroll all of the paper into the floor in about 30 seconds. If the paper hangs over the back, that won't happen.
