Ashton Drakeford has enrolled at Boyle County. Great player from Mercer County.

Had not heard this. Huge hit to Coach Yeast and Mercer County.

Let's not forget the current Junior Class (26) when they were 8th graders they was very bad. So it wouldn't surprise me to see Boyle lose a couple of games next year.

Based on this what is your outlook on the year?  They return Murphy at QB who threw for 30 TD's and only 1 INT along with Driver at TE/WR who holds several power 5 offers.  I know they have a tough schedule.

Was hearing that is Mother was the library teacher at Boyle's Woodlawn Elem. school.  Not sure about that but I did hear that from more than a couple of people.

Boyle vs. Bullitt East, Bowling Green vs. O'boro Catholic?  Wow!

That would make for a fun opening bowl to kick the season off.

She might actually be now.  I know she's in education and taught at both Mercer Co. Intermediate and HS.  I know she works a lot in personal fitness as well.  Her son, Kaelin, played at Eastern Illinois with my son this past year.  Kaelin just actually transferred to UT-Chattanooga for his last year of football.  Super nice people and a good pickup for Boyle Co.

Far cry from the little closet that held some weights and maybe two nautilus machines.  That was where I lifted weights and I think Rebel would remember it as well.

Found this old pic of @Hatz and @Rebel working out.  @ChiefSmoke might have come over and had a go also.

I was there when we got the Universal machine!  It was in that little room in the gym, to the left of the stage, looking at it from the gym floor.  Back in those days, the football lockerroom was on the opposite end of the stage.

Boyle also added the Goodman kid one of the top ranked dlineman in the 2026 class- I believe. Boyle will be really good again with the QB coming back and now with huge targets of 6'4 Drakeford and 6'7 Driver. Kelly will be their best lineman on either side of the ball who also is getting D1 looks. Kelly is probably one of the few kids that have started at the varsity level every game since entering High School at Boyle, lots of experience there in big games' I think Boyle's biggest thing is the running back position and who earns the spot.
