I think its time for Mark Stoops to move on.  He's hit his ceiling and he just looks mentally checked out.  He tried to bolt for A&M last year so we already know he doesn't want to be here.

I agree with you on the points about reaching their ceiling and wanting to be in Lexington.

UK routinely gets out schemed.

Either we can't draw up plays to get receivers open, or our receivers can't run routes and get separation. I'm not sure which it is.

Other teams seemingly always have receivers run free wide open, which from watching the games appears to be because our defense plays a soft zone coverage that allows receivers to find gaps to settle into.

Today UK got beat almost entirely by the SC defensive line. The sad thing was even when extra blockers were kept in, they rarely blocked anyone. UK had a 7 on 3 advantage on one play. They ended up doubling one guy. Taking two on one on one as the other three blockers stood there blocking air. 7 on 3 and SC still nearly got a sack and nearly forced an int.

This may be the most dejected I've ever been after any UK football game.

Music City Bowl is typical.  An occasional lower-level New Year’s bowl. That’s the ceiling.

This is the worst team UK has had for quite a few years. The Georgia game next week will get ugly quickly. It’s possible they might only win one more game…maybe the one with Ohio. Kroger Field will be sparse with fans later in the season.
