Final. Unreal I am not sure if the Cats have ever lost 3 straight home games in my memory.

  • I guess shame on Cal for drawing up the play he did (Onyenso cluttered it all) but we’re just going to continually praise Sheppard’s decision making yet act like he is incapable of seeing that wasn’t

Big Z is still vanilla and needs time.  He shouldn't be the only "true" big in the lineup because he's really not.  He can do work with another 7 footer or Mitchell around him, but he needs that.

If Cal would start Sheppard at the point AND at the 2, we would have much better starts.  A real coach would do that. SMH

I guess I had fun watching.

Well the post game answered that it was 1966.

At this point they don’t even deserve to be in the NCAA Tournament come March. They’ll have to do better to change my mind. They for sure aren’t winning the SEC Tournament in my opinion.

Defense once again not good, and the biggest things in these losses is this team has just got completely beat physically. that's the been the story so far, teams that have played physical have given this team issues.

That was great play design by Cal but the timing was off. Ugo did not get out of the paint area fast enough and his defender made a very good play. If not for that, easy dunk for Theiro.

The next week of practices should be nothing but defending the pick and roll and box out your man. Maybe every practice the rest of the way.

I said this last week and it's still the same. Bigs are soft.  Mitchell being out hasn't helped. Wagner still isn't 100%.  Calipari lineups the last few games have been awful at times, just awful.

Meanwhile, Washington Huskies are struggling, but Keion Brooks is out there averaging 21 points and 7 rebounds per game.

I mean considering this is Brooks 5th year playing in college, it’s not surprising he is having his best year now.

Mix in some zone, try to change up tempo, get the other team out of rhythm maybe, HOW COULD IT BE ANY WORSE!!???

When you stand and watch your team get beat on high ball screens and low post ups for 40 minutes and make absolutely no defensive changes then you 100% deserve to lose the game and that’s exactly what Cal did tonight, really feel sorry for the Ky players to be put in that situation, what could you be thinking as a head coach? This team hasn’t gotten one bit better since the beginning of the season, three straight home losses which is a record but could get worse. Another sad day for Ky basketball!
