He might decide he wants to stay for 2 years....but it won't be because he has to hope that a team will use a first round pick on him based on potential.  CBS Sports has him going with the number 2 pick to San Antonio.  Even if you don't set it up as a mock draft, they have him as the number 9 overall prospect and the #3 guard.  NBA.com has him going 12th.  I have yet to see a projection that doesn't have him in the lottery somewhere.  

The Cats are 4-5 in the last 9 games in the last month starting with the Texas A&M on Jan. 13th.

I'd absolutely love to have Sophomore Reed Sheppard but I don't think it's happening. Seen a few mock drafts that have him mid to late lottery pick.

I think I finally want to make it official, Theiro is my favorite player on this team.

If we are revisiting the foul or not and sharing examples, Xavier had a 3 point lead versus Villanova and did not foul. Played such good defense that Villanova didn't even get a shot off. 

My rule would be up 3, with 6 seconds or less you foul.

Guys, we gave up 33 POINTS the last 11 MINUTES of the game!!!!  That is absolutely ridiculous!!!  How do you NOT try to mix it up at least a little???!!  That is the definition of insanity, doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result!!

Teams as high as 33rd in the NET ratings have missed the tournament in the past.  The won't be 20th on Monday morning.  A 4-4 finish (or worse), that would extend this poor last month to an 8-9 second half of the season and drop them far enough in the ratings that it wouldn't be a real comfortable selection Sunday.

This is what most people ignore every year when they say, “this isn’t even a tournament team.” Yeah, they’re not good, but nobody else is. It is not like teams 30-50 are surging.

The schedule does stay tough so it’s not out of the realm. 

Guys I think the game on Tuesday will be another very tough one and if our defense is like it was today we would lose again. Ole Miss now has in my opinion a very good coach in Chris Beard and they did not play today so they will have had a week to prepare for the Cats. Then after that game we have to go to Auburn for a night game and they are a very physical team. But hey look Tennessee is getting thumped tonight at A&M and Auburn got thumped at Florida.

Something that might need mentioned. Starting from behind hasn't really changed with Sheppard in the starting lineup.
