Well, guess my preseason and early season pick was right about who would make the state championship game. I really thought Highlands would as the season went on. Congratulations to Cooper on a huge win, now win the rest of it!

If it does start, it needs to stop. The guy got them back to being a state championship contender and they lost to a really good team tonight. Shouldn't be any shame or issues with that. If they fire him tomorrow, he'll have a job coaching somewhere in a few weeks.

A funny thing happened in FT tonight ????Looks like Cooper didn’t get the memo they were supposed to lose ??❤️

Roughing the FG kicker was a surprising call, but the Highlands folk faces after the pick was Priceless.  

2 questions:

1.   Did that punt at the end of the game really make it to the 24?   From where I was sitting it seemed like it was closer to the 15.

2.  How is that not pass interference on the first down play after the punt?

Take a look at Cooper's RPI......and they beat Scott County, Southwestern, and Highlands the last three weeks.

The punt was at the 24.  Didn’t see any interference just a forced pass so that’s how it’s not interference.  Overall the officials had zero bearing on the outcome.

You talk about an absolute roller coaster of emotions to ends a game! This was one for the books. What a great great atmosphere for a playoff game and a very cleanly played one at that. Nothing to hang your heads about other than not winning. I’m frozen solid but so glad I made the trip.

Super happy for Austin and his teammates, what a fun road win for the Jags.  The Cooper road-show rolls on, and I certainly thought the ride would end tonight for them tonight in Fort Thomas.
