Welp it's a little different than playing Ohio County and Breckenridge County isn't it? I don't know though, maybe BG should have to play Daviess County to find out who the real state champion is, apparently they have the studs...🙄 Congratulations to the Purples on a great season, a great run through an extremely difficult postseason schedule. Thought the offense was going to cost BG this game, but thankfully the BG defense completely shutdown Owensboro throughout the whole game. And the Red Devil's just never stop a chance. Just a fantastic year for Bowling Green and with no COVID cancelations by BG. KHSAA deserves a lot of credit along with the schools, coaches, players and parents for getting the entire season and post season in during this mess. GO PURPLES!!

Their offense have had a ton of bad calls the last two games. Such a waste of Cooper's talent.

This is unacceptable if this doesn't get fixed. They monopolized the video broadcast which is fine, but the only broadcast available had to work well!

Owensboro's schedule was a joke. The only team they played anywhere close to BG's level (or several of BG's opponents) was Frederick Douglass and that was at home and they should have lost that game. Owensboro may beat BG and that will prove it, but I see nothing in Owensboro's schedule that makes me think they can beat BG when BG plays well.

Check BG's schedule, then get back to me.

It was clear to me. It was obvious in the video. Coach ran into the official and may have said something too. Plus they already had a warning earlier in the game. You get what you get there.

To be fair, itsy clearly on video the coach was in the way of the official. And he may have said something to. I went back to it a number of times and it's clearly interference. And they had gotten a warning for the same thing earlier in the game. I hate to see that type of call in that situation, but it clearly was an infraction and not close. Now the official could have made the decision to not throw the flag which makes think something was said as well.

BG cause their D-line is so good has been able to get pressure without rushing a lot of extra people. And that will be key against Owensboro as well. Will they be able to do that against Owensboro O-Line? And can they contain the QB when he takes off? Two big questions.

From what I saw rewatching the broadcast Owensboro first TD came off a really bad under thrown pass they returned for a TD. FD had another bad turnover on their next possession and I assuming Owensboro scored on that too. The broadcast skips over the entire first half after that basically. So I have no idea what happens. Turnovers are killers!!! And BG has had their fair share of those as well. Hopefully Cooper can get some good QB run plays inside and outside to help wear down the defense. He's a super threat running the ball. Bunton has to get going, but he's always ran the ball well so I expect more of the same. Hopefully we can get the passing game going even if it is short passes. That will open the running game even more. Got to help Bunton out. Defense just needs to keep doing what they are doing. Gotta contain the QB and that worries me cause sometimes our middle seems to be open. Should be a good game. If BG plays well then they should control the game. 28-14 is my prediction. Let's go! Hope the broadcast is good and has no issues.

Unfortunately the first half is pretty much not on NFHS network. I watched it today and after the first owensboro td it skips to like 1 minute before halftime. I was disappointed cause I wanted to see it. But what I saw in the second half I am even more confident BG will win. If BG just plays well and don't turn the ball I don't see Owensboro being a threat. Now if BG has a bad game could be a different story. I wasn't impressed with Owensboro what I saw anyway. Wish most of the first half made on the on-demand broadcast.

It's been very iffy and inconsistent. Sometimes it's spot on and other times it's terrible.
