Another huge mistake by Graves County. Greenwood player with a bad hit in the QB. Would have been 15 yards and a first down. But a fight broke out and now offsetting penalties.

Awful interception. Threw it right to the Greenwood player and basically gave them a TD. 9-7 Graves late second quarter. Graves is just better than Greenwood. Way Better up front on both sides of the ball. Better offense too.

Well this game is pretty much over. Greenwood laying another egg so far. 9-0 Graves County 1st quarter.

Careful now……..some on here only want you to look at record and not worry about a team playing down in class. but you are exactly right.

Some on here have talked about how MNH is really good. I could be wrong, but I don’t see it. I see South rolling in this one.

Greenwood rarely ever gets out of the first round of the playoffs, but when they do it’s against one of these western Kentucky schools that’s not Owensboro. Greenwood is not very good and doesn’t have any wins of substance. but neither does Graves County. And Greenwood has played a much tougher schedule. So I’ll take the Gators in a close one.

No. Greenwood, while not very good, is a 5A school and has played a much tougher schedule than UC. plus GW would not schedule a lower class team if it didn’t feel confident it’s a team it could beat. That’s their strategy trying to schedule wins.

Game went about like I thought. I had it 35-24 St. X. BG has major problems up front on both sides of the ball. But particularly the OL. The offense just hasn’t looked good the last few games. The BG defense has improved after some changes and experience. But BG’s OL has been bad last year and this year. Not sure if they just aren’t very good, have changed the way play, or just have some wrong personnel in wrong places. BG can’t run the football which is not normal. They can’t protect Deuce either against good upfronts. They’ve got issues for some reason. St. X had four turnovers….FOUR……and BG could only muster 12 points. Not good. The good news is BG won’t see a team with dl/ol dudes like St. X again this season. South is close and they dominated upfront in that game against BG. BG had a couple of injuries which they couldn’t afford. Another reason I’m not a huge fan of scheduling these big games at the last game of the season. BG has some work to do, but should make a deep run in the playoffs and is one of a few teams that can win the state championship. Just got to get some things figured out.

They would have probably dropped in the rankings if BG had won.

Watching on the stream and that was a heck of an effort by the BG player to strip that ball. BG has to get TDs though to have a chance.

It’s clear that unless Highlands loses, this poll will not put BG over Highlands no matter what.

BG is not operating on all cylinders offensively right now. And with it's defense the Purples have no room for error. I believe St. X will dominate up from, be able to run the ball, and take advantage of the short passes over the middle of the field. My main concern is no injuries. BG has a great shot to win the state title, but it can't afford any injuries. St. X 35 BG 24

BG 52-14. I know last year there some on here who wanted to go ahead and award the Gators the state championship half way through the season. This year seemed like there were a few after the first few weeks to declare them a top 3 team. But we've seen what happened. BG rolls in this one and probably gets a running clock if they play well.

I misread the poll. I didn't read it carefully enough. I thought it was asking what we normally pay for a ticket. I would pay $15-$20 or so if it's a great matchup. Like I would pay $20 for BG vs South Warren But BG vs Ohio County should be free, lol. Just kidding. But I feel like $6 is enough for that one. But I just look at paying to get into a game as a donation to school anyway. I may buy a season pass even though I know I can't go to all the games, but it helps my school.

No doubt WKU is a much better fit for the state championships and UK hosting them is just a terrible fan experience. BUT WKU apparently doesn't want the state championship at their facility.

Lots of good suggestions. While this is not practical for a lot Schools, I’d love to see football stadiums without tracks.

They are also two plays away from being undefeated.
