Congrats to the Highlands Bluebirds on a great season. Best of luck to Cooper next week with a great opportunity to bring a title home for their community and NKY. Circle this one for next season in Fort Thomas!

Well said @Finkle Ray!

Congrats Cooper. Is this the first time in the State final??

No, 2012 loss to Bowling Green I believe.  It is on here.

When does the discussion of firing the Highlands coach start?

That’s cool. I picked Cooper in this one. I had a feeling they were legit and would redeem themselves.

Cooper has an excellent football team and they have improved as the year has gone on.

Do the 7 on 7 titles mean nothing?

I was so wrong.  I really thought Highlands was becoming a machine.
Cooper defense hit hard and hit often.  They really plugged the holes well!

That was one of the strangest last 2 min I have ever witnessed as both teams had some goofy things happen.

What a game. Congrats to Cooper they played better and had a better game plan.

Anybody believe me that the Cooper defense got a couple piece back that would make a difference?

Hope y'all enjoy you steak and cake at home next week.

It was tabled for the last 2 months, but that talk will be coming back soon. Some will have to recover from falling off their high horse before that gets in full swing again.

If it does start, it needs to stop. The guy got them back to being a state championship contender and they lost to a really good team tonight. Shouldn't be any shame or issues with that. If they fire him tomorrow, he'll have a job coaching somewhere in a few weeks.

That one is right here:

Congrats to Highlands on a great season. Very tough team.

Congrats to Coach Borchers and the Cooper Jags! 2012 against Bowling Green was a tough fought loss, time to finish the job and come back with that hardware!!

Stanton with the interception at the end of the game! Nice win Jags! Fort Thomas is on lockdown lol!
