They should run Lorenzen all the time. CCH can't stop that big boy. He is massive compared to our defense.

100% agree. Our passing game is scary or lack there off. I still feel like we can’t complete anything more than 10 yards down the field. Everything is screen with hopes it breaks for a long run. Like someone mentioned earlier in the thread, they didn’t need to pass tonight against Beechwood, they couldn’t stop the run. Highlands will definitely give us trouble. I hate to say this but Highlands is probably the #1 team in 4A right now. They have beaten some good quality opponents.

Maybe LCA, they beat LexCath who beat Boyle. But still think Beechwood will win State. They hung with CCH for 3 quarters.

Don’t worry Beechwood folks. You guys will win another 2A title this year. I feel like you go 14-1 every year with the one loss being to CCH.

I agree 100% with this. Definately no vertical game threat with Cash not being able to throw 10 yards down the field. Don't get me wrong, Cash is a good athlete but I like them 6ft4in QB's that can throw down field easily 20-40 yards. Kind of like AJ Mayer or Pitzer a few years ago.

So what do we know about Central? Are they good, bad, average ? Are they in 4A.

We may have a good chance of beating Elder this upcoming year. We got a lot of returners coming back and it’s the 2nd game of year where most teams are still figuring things out. I rather play them in beginning of year than at the end. Could be worse, it could have been Moeller that we scheduled. They would have destroyed us.

Trinity will always have a big crowd. Big school with lots of state titles and tradition. Past football players for Trinity will always come out to watch another potential state championship.

I will take Paducah 28-14. I think they got too much firepower on offense.

Surely you don’t want to lose to Bowling Green for the 3rd time in a state title game in as many trips. Cooper is probably thinking why do we got to keep playing BG in the state title game. You got to throw it in the end zone. I would have simply did a toss up to Oliver Link. He is tall, see if he could have come down with it. I think you seriously could have had 2 chances to try and do that. You can’t throw it to someone at the 5 yard line.

I still think CCH could have did 2 quick pass plays in the end zone at the end with 6 seconds left. Probably wouldn’t have mattered but wishful thinking. Still a little surprised they got it down the field to the 6 yard line on passing plays that last drive. The passing game wasn’t really working for us all night. CCH definitely had their chances to get to a bigger lead in the first half. I felt like we let that game slip away. Good game by Franklin County.

Our receivers need to get open. Give Cash someone to throw to.

I feel like we should be up 14-0, maybe 10-0. We definitely had our chances. Not scoring a TD from the one foot line hurts especially when you have 4 downs to do it. Hope the miscues don’t come back to hurt us but FC does have a good defense.
