Great coach. Wish him all the best in the next phase. Loved watching my boy get to play for him, get mentored by him, and experience winning with him. This picture sums up how close he was/is with his players, and shows the fun side. The lineman would do this pose after every win. Rash joined in after state title. Classic.

Is he really retiring or just thinking about open jobs across the river?   Either way, he's earned whatever he decides to do next.

He just built a new house and his wife retired last year. My guess is they are ready to enjoy leisure life, get ready for grandkids, and to focus on health.
