The Raven
They seem like a natural fit for the PAC 12, but that's not really a step up anymore.

Once, SC and UCLA are out I'd venture to say Gonzaga and St. Mary's could give what is left of the PAC 12 a solid run for their money.
9068
Would the Big 12 want Gonzaga since they do not have a Power 5 football program?

Gonzaga will give SC and UCLA fits right now, I'm saying the PAC 12 is a much better conference from top to bottom.

The Pac-12 as a collection have long been an academic oriented set of institutions. They've shown almost no interest in Boise State or San Diego State to this point because of their lesser academic status. They weren't interested in BYU because of their religious affiliation. I think Gonzaga fits a little better than those three but they also don't have football. However, like the bar at 1am, does the fact that its about to close mean you have to dance with what's left?
