Great game.  Two big mistakes by the each quarterback on each of their last drives.  Beechwood's kicker was able to come to the rescue and squeeze every yard that he had out of his leg.  

 

Congratulations Beechwood.  Great game plan and execution. 

I wasn't big on 5th year seniors winning Mr. Football, but after tonight Cam is the best player in High School Football! Give him his flowers, one of the best high school players to ever do it. 

I would like to hear from all the LCA posters eating crow right now. Do you respect us Ft Mitchell'ers confidence in our Beechwood defense now? We told everyone our defense was stout!!!!

One of the most loaded small school rosters to not win a title. I'm talking this year and last. Brown, Moore, Johns, Morris, Selby... that's a lot of All-BGP and All-State kids on one team. They've had the misfortune of running into one of our most decorated programs, currently led by a coach who's now 7-1 in championship games and a Beechwood g.o.a.t. at quarterback who may have sealed the deal on a second consecutive Mr. Football.

I hope the Tigers are listening to this on the way home!

The game undoubtedly lived up to its billing. Two awesome teams played and either clearly could have won. Congratulations to both teams on excellent seasons and to Beechwood on #16!

Back to back titles for Beechwood…fantastic job Tigers! I stated in the pregame discussion that LCA would have to play their best game to win this…Beechwood is just too good this year.

Not gonna lie, JB, I've always thought that song was about as corny and overplayed as it comes.

I heard them playing that in the stadium following the game and my immediate thought as I rolled my eyes was, "Man...it's 2021 and they're playing a 44 year old glam rock ballad to celebrate the football win?"

I think his Uncle was a better Beechwood QB and probably the GOAT for Beechwood QBs but that is for another thread.
