Good. He’s by far one of the best choices they could have made. Congrats and good luck to Coach Haddix and the Rebels.

Fill us in on his qualifications please.

Went 64-18 in six seasons at Corbin and reached the state finals twice in class 3A. First time since 2002. Four consecutive regional titles.

Huge loss for Corbin. Still stuck in the good ole boy system.

Previous to Corbin, Haddix was 26-20 in four seasons as head football coach at Perry Central.

Congratulations and good luck to Coach Haddix and the Rebels!

Haddix is a good coach. Played at Breathitt County under Mike Halcomb and at WKU. Boyle County has big expectations every year, which they should, so I hope he’s ready for that pressure cooker. And I’m sure he is.

If memory serves wasn’t he on the National Championship squad at WKU? Won a state title at Breathitt.

He arrived in Bowling Green in 2003. One year after the National Championship Team.

Is he coming over to teach as well? Is he coming now or at the end of the year?

Great hire not only did they get great coach they crippled a regional foe.

Thanks.

I like the hire. He’s young and comes from a program that expects to win. Welcome to the Big Rebel Nation!
