Any word on what Haddix plans to do for a staff? Boyle had a lot of coaches not apply for the job that currently work in the district, right?

Coach Smith and Coach Settles have retired. Coach Pardue I heard might end up back at Campbellsville University again. Can't confirm that as I have not spoken with him. Just something I had heard. All the rest are expected back as of right now and I think there will be another coach added maybe two.

Jeff Hester is still there. His youngest son will be a senior next year. He can retire from teaching either at the end of this year or next, now whether or not he will keep coaching after that I'm not for sure. The defense will still be in great hands.

Looking at scores it seems as if that was Corbin's weakness last year. Especially against Wayne in the playoffs. 49-63 is a rough way to lose. I assumed Chuck called the defense last season.

It was a great Meet and Greet reception for Coach Haddix and his family here last night. All, of the assistant coaches were in attendance. There are at least two vacancies on the staff with the retirements. I think the decisions on what part each assistant fills on his staff will be made after all positions are filled. I think you can be sure that coach Hester will certainly be involved with the defense, with his success and experience there in the past. I know he is in charge of the conditioning that was going on even before Coach Haddix was officially hired. There was a great deal of excitement at the event last night from players, coaches, parents and fans in general. It was very comfortable with all of his family there interacting with everyone in the crowd. I think everyone is very happy with Justin and the job the selection committee did in bringing him here to continue the legacy of Rebel football.
