I think Dexter Lawrence (DT) improved our LB room the moment he walked in the door. That big boy is going to take up a lot of attention which should free up some room for our LBs.

By no means am I an expert, but I have done some time researching golf clubs and golf shafts in particular. Essentially what we want when swinging the club is consistent impact. We want the club to meet the ball the same way every time (much easier said than done). If you swing is faster than the recommended speed for your shaft, you will get inconsistent flex and whip when coming through. On the other end of the spectrum, if your swing is slower than the recommended swing speed for your shaft, you are not going to get the whip necessary for solid impact. There is a lot that goes into it, but I would use this chart as reference.

Respectfully, you changed the conversation from a father being upset at an assistant coach for saying things that "there is no place for" (quoting another poster because it is relevant to my initial arguement) to you not liking your sons math teacher. You gave no reason for not liking your sons math teacher. Did the teacher belittle your child? Did the teacher say things that should not be said to children? Did the teacher just give your child a bad grade? That is relevant information for a person to be able to make a decision. In the original topic (the one this thread is about), we have a reason for the fathers frustrations. In your made up scenario, we do not. Do you see the difference? I don't think the 2 are equivalent, yet you are trying to compare them.

I think I clarified my position. If a father isn't happy with the way his child is being treated, I think he should feel confident that the administration would handle the matter with my child's interest in mind. That was the topic being discussed. I am not sure why math is relevant here.

On March 3rd @The Double Deuce (who has certainly earned my trust over the years) stated: A little further down in the thread, you stated something that I also think supports my belief: I then see a post by @PP1 saying So, to clarify my stance. A dad is upset with the way a grown man spoke to his teenage daughter. Based on the things that you, @AvidSportsJunkie856, have heard there is no place for some of what was said. @PP1 thinks the dad shouldn't have a say in who is in the building with his daughter. I disagree.

Wild take. As a father with school age kids, it is my nightmare for my administration to believe that parent shouldn't have a say on who is in the building with our children.

Did we ever find out why he was out this past year? I heard a lot of different rumors but I don't think anything was ever publicized.

Per the 2026 Cov Cath thread, it appears that Brian Weinrich will be joining the Colonels for the 2026 season. In an effort to not have that thread derailed I thought this deserved its own thread as I imagine people will have thoughts.

These would be my assumptions: Pete Carroll: Oldest HC to coach an NFL game. Very young core and the Raiders will be bringing in a new QB. The Geno Smith experiment did not work so Geno and Pete had to go. Brady is now going to reform the organization. The Raiders have to 2nd most cap space to work with and the number 1 overall pick. With all of that said, it all adds up to a fresh start IMHO. John Harbaugh: He and Lamar didn't see eye to eye and the organization chose their QB over their HC. Sean McDermott: As @16thBBall Fan mentioned, he may have taken them as far as he can. Josh Allen isn't getting any younger, and if McDermott can't get to the dance with Josh, maybe somebody else can. Kevin Stefanski- Andrew Berry is trying to save his own butt as GM. The team started the season with 5 QBs on the roster and still don't know what they answer is for the position. Somebody had to lose their job. I think Cleveland let the wrong guy go (thankfully as a Bengals fan). Berry was the one who went all in for Watson over Baker. In the end I'm sure Berry threw Stefanski under the bus in hopes of saving his own job and at least for the moment he was successful. Raheem Morris- Having the young offensive core of Robinson, London, and Pitts, I think the organization had different ideas for how to past 2 seasons would have gone. Signing Cousins and drafting Penix then not winning the division when most thought it was down I believe were the reason for dropping HC & GM. Not saying any are wrong or right, but those guys get paid A L O T of money and didn't bring the results needed to keep those salaries.
