Per the 2026 Cov Cath thread, it appears that Brian Weinrich will be joining the Colonels for the 2026 season. In an effort to not have that thread derailed I thought this deserved its own thread as I imagine people will have thoughts.

As a Colonel who lost to @Male Dueller 4 times, I am elated to have a guy on staff who learned from him!

Do we know what BW will be coaching?  Woolf running the defense correct? Good for CCH for hiring an excellent assistant coach! Go Birds!

Excellent addition for Cov Cath, Coach Weinrich is a good one.

IMO, this makes the Blue Colonels a better team, immediately.  BW will be a great addition to the program.

And even better if it happens in 5A after the Anti-Private School Multiplier is in use.
