  1. The Craig's are great people. Tommy Lee is as good as it gets; he's also a very good football coach! Wish him and his dad the best of luck!
  2. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1HRQNYmuPF/ The DAWGS are WORKIN!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Glasgow High School. AKA The DAWG Pound ⋆?°
  4. Excellent addition for Cov Cath, Coach Weinrich is a good one.
  5. My guy! Happy for you Coach Griff. Russellville got a good one!
  6. Hearing former Southwestern HC Jason Foley is the leading candidate for this job.
  7. Heavy favorite for the HS job. Mark Payne and Matt Chandler seem to be the leading candidates at this time.
  8. The latest name I've heard is Jordan Amis. Former Pineville and Bell County coach. Should hear something soon. Numerous candidates have declined. Interesting to see who they land in the end.
  9. Can confirm they are conducting more interviews today. Could potentially see a coach named within the next 48-72 hours. Last I checked, they are still taking applicants. But they want to wrap this search up "ASAP."
  10. From sources, they believe Glasgow has a chance to be REALLY good this upcoming season. They believe their skill kids are some of the best in the state for a lower classification public school. Excited to see how the Scotties can build on their impressive 2025 season.
  11. Can confirm they are now on option 4, and have had 3 candidates already decline. Look for SW to either name candidate #4 in the next 48 hours. If it is not named by then, they will look for other options.
  12. Have heard they are going to interview current HC at Seneca, Kenny Davidson, for their vacant HC spot. Davidson was formerly an assistant at South Warren and is a very good coach who relates well with the kids. I think he'd kill it at Central. On another note, I believe Central is in the process of vetting numerous coaches. It will be interesting to see who they lock in.
  13. I have heard a couple of these names already. I know 2 of these candidates have already had conversations with TC admin. Be interested to see if TC finally goes after an alum or opens it up. This is a job that hasn't had a great track record of keeping coaches around lately.
  14. Coach Herron at Glasgow has done an excellent job for the Scotties this season. According to the stats, they're top 5 in every defensive category for 3A and have the #2 defense in the entire state. Big reason why the Scotties are rolling this year. I've seen in a couple of threads that he could be a hot name for some lower-class schools this coaching cycle. A real up-and-comer in the coaching ranks who has coached with some really highly thought of coaches over the past couple of years. Glasgow would hate to lose him!
  15. Maybe you've got to ask yourself why SW has had 7 DC's in 6 years under their HC? Or maybe you should ask yourself why nobody wants to play for the orange and blue right now? How are you a 5A school with some tradition, and it is getting harder and harder to field a roster of 35 kids. I think eventually you have to look at the man running the program and ask yourself, why does nobody want to be there? I think most people will come to a similar conclusion.
  16. I agree with this. Glasgow gave up 14 rushing yards against Barren County on the ground. CAL is legit. They have studs across the defense. Hard to go against them right now.
  17. These are the top 5 scoring defenses across the state so far. If anybody knows anything about these teams/ the strength of each teams defense please share. So far I’m super impressed with Atherton, CAL, and Glasgow as they have played the tougher opponents of the 5 teams listed. 1. Taylor County (2.0 ppg) 2. Atherton (2.3 ppg) 3. Glasgow (3.6 ppg) 4. Nicholas County (4.3 ppg) 5. CAL (4.7 ppg)
  18. This rivalry has been heated for a long time and this week is no different. According to sources, there is a quiet confidence with the Scotties as they look to regain sole possession of the city. If the Scottie’s can stop the run and limit turnovers, I think this one could potentially run away from the Trojans in the second half. Interested to see this one play out.

  20. This is true, but it was a middle school game. High school plays tomorrow.
  21. The Glasgow Scotties open up the new campaign under new head coach Jackson Arnett, facing off against the Clay County Bulldogs of Celina, TN. The Scotties are coming off a lackluster 2024 season finishing 5-6, and the Bulldogs of Clay County are coming off an impressive 10-3 season where they went to the quarterfinals of the 1A playoffs in TN. This matchup will take place at Barren County High School. Who wins and why?
  22. Give me Logan county by a touchdown. Yes they got blown out by Glasgow last week, but they still have the size and speed to make it difficult on Hart County.
  23. Glasgow is going to surprise a lot of people this year. Keep a lookout for the Scottie’s.
