Great Game by both clubs.

Congratulations to the Titans for doing what everyone thought they would do. Not as easy as it might seem.

Awesome game to listen to. Wish I could have been there...

Congrats to Russell as well to a great season.

Great game.

Congratulations to Mercer Co. on their 1st State Championship. I also want to congratulate Coach McGlone and the Red Devils on a great season, and a great, great effort in today's game. :thumb:

Congratulatons to Mercer County Titans, Coach Jaggers and the whole Mercer County community.

And another one bites the dust!!!

Awesome game to listen to for both teams. Neither has anything to hang their heads about. Great effort and great play by both sides.

Congrats to both Mercer and Russell on a great game in bad wind.

Ditto...I think the majority of AA fans across the state, as well as others, were pulling for the Red Devils. They gave a valiant effort and are to be commended.

Any game stats for the two teams? I know Russell's Kasey Clark had a great all-around game. Who else stood out?

Mercer moves to 6A next year?:scared: :scared:

They should have won, haha. I didn't know that until the announcers just said it.

Good job Russell GOOD JOB....To have read some previous threads, you were not even going to be able to play with Mercer. It could have went either way! HEY top 2 teams in the State! CLOSE game :thumb:

Congradulations Mercer Good Game

Move to 5A. The KHSAA needs new radio and tv announcers...

What a game. Both defenses deserve all the credit in the world. I KNEW this game was not going to be a blowout. The Devils should not hang their heads. What an effort by Kasey Clark and Wills for Russell and the same for Corey Jackson and Blake Arnold from Mercer.

My game ball goes to Arnold for Mercer. His three picks were huge. Game ball for Russell goes to Clark. 22 carries for 78 yards, 6 catches for 114 yards. Not sure how many tackles but he had two stops behind the line and I think 1 sack.

Congrats to the Mighty Mercer Titans! Great year for you guys and good luck next year. As for Russell, what a run guys. You guys represented us well and we could not be more proud of our Devils for hanging with the Titans. Congrats.

And now I can go take a breath!
