I agree I find it hard to believe anyone played their position any better than Josh.And I know by watching him play no one played with any more heart! This guy would be able to get into the line up on any squad .The only reason K Clark was not on 1st. o.was due to injury that limited his carries this year.Jones deserves alot of credit for getting them back to the state game .

No excuses here,Just facts---------You are the one putting out derogatory statements like the gift touchdown & extra point that followed did not have a bearing on the game is saying you don't believe Russell could have done anything with the ball on there own 1yd. line.Putting down there special team play.And that the only stat.that matters in on the score board.Repeatedly stating who you thought were the real state champs..Well with all that you did not have to tell us that you are not a fan ,thats pretty clear.Then after saying those things you try and sugar coat it .enough said. Great year Devils in my eyes you guys are champs!I have full confidence the Devils will make another big run next year they have alot of talent returning and some very talented kids coming up, that along with the return of our coaching staff should seal another great year.Take us back to the State!

It is one thing to just have bad judgment on a call and blatantly make the wrong call, it happens ------But to be officiating in a State Championship game and NOT know the rules is another.And where were the other refs? They were no better,they just stood there and by doing nothing backed the call.

Mercer helped the attendance? Maybe thats why KHSAA worked so hard to get them in the game.With the way KHSAA handled this year they can expect even greater losses in the future.This bunch is supposed to oversee H.S. sports and they failed miserably .See guys when you don't do things on the up&up it can come back & haunt you.I truly hope someone steps up & dismisses the people who got this year so messed up .
