August 30, 20197 yr UC struggles with mental errors but UCLA is just bad. Mike Warren will carry UC this year and they have some playmakers on D.
August 30, 20197 yr UCLA is really bad. UC was sloppy and didn't play well at all, and still led from start to finish. On to Columbus.
August 30, 20197 yr I don’t think I like the shorts. They remind me of those horrid Chicago White Sox unis from back in the day.
August 30, 20197 yr I don’t think I like the shorts. They remind me of those horrid Chicago White Sox unis from back in the day. Yeah, why don't players wear knee pads any more?
August 30, 20197 yr Since 2015 Chip Kelly is 11-33 as a head coach. Obviously most of that is the NFL, but still.
August 30, 20197 yr To echo the sentiment of prior posts, UCLA is bad. Hearing the talk of how they finished strong last season and thought it may carry over, but they have a lot of things to get corrected. Still, a win is a win for UC. On to the next one!
August 30, 20197 yr A few thoughts from last night: - Obvious first game jitters but think that defense is going to be really good again this year if they can stay healthy. - Des was pretty efficient and thought he made some great throws/reads in key situations to keep drives alive. - Mike Warren got 26 carries last night... He needs 20+ touches a game, every game. - Loss of All Conference safety James Wiggins is a big blow but I thought Ja'Von Hicks filled in nicely to replace him. He will get better as the season progresses. - UCLA QB was terrible. I'm sure UCLA fans are happy to see the series with UC end. Bearcats sweep both home and home series in football and basketball. Columbus should be fun next Sat, regardless of outcome.

August 30, 20197 yr That was as bad of a QB performance as you'll ever see. Imagine how bad the backups must be.
August 30, 20197 yr UCLA is really bad. UC was sloppy and didn't play well at all, and still led from start to finish. On to Columbus. UC gets two more extra days to prepare for the Buckeyes. Which UC insider was it predicting an upset?
