Everything! She was a phenomenal cook! My Grandma and aunt Nora were even better, as hard as that is to believe!

My mom makes the best bean soup.

 

Also, when my brothers and I were growing up, she used to make the best Halloween costumes ever. She could sew like none other until her Parkinson's made her hands too clumsy. Fort Mitchell used to have trick-or-treating on the Saturday closest to Halloween every year, and they would have a costume competition by age, which they held on the festival grounds at the Diocesan Catholic Childrens Home in Fort Mitchell. My brothers and I would win every single year four our age groups...literally every single year.
