Midweek Poll results

Every playoff game thread has a poll attached. Midway through the week, here is where we stand.

I am somewhat surprised by the disparity of most of these polls. Technically the JC/Rock game is the only one with similar close vote totals.

Central only getting 30% of the vote is comical.

While I voted for CovCath, I'm surprised the defending state champs aren't getting more love from BGPers.

I would bet that most of the votes are from hometown fans voting for their hometown team.

 

I still agree with the majority of the polls, but I think Johnson Central is going to beat Rockcastle Co.

While I voted for CovCath, I'm surprised the defending state champs aren't getting more love from BGPers.

 

Could have to do with what LexCath did last week. I know that rarely does a previous game affect an upcoming game. But I think most people would agree that CovCath wouldn't let LexCath off the hook like last week. If CovCath was ahead 34-7 at halftime, or whatever the score was, you could pretty well bet the farm on it. But I've seen stranger things in my day.
