No way they are playing the Christian Fellowship in Draffenville, the school only has about 25 boys in the entire school, must be one of the prep schools from the Grind Session that are coming in to play that has the same name.

Marshall County is playing Christian Fellowship.

Has anyone said how this is legal and won’t affect his eligibility? Is this being treated the same as him playing for an AAU team?

Darn, at this point and time, I doubt that Perry Mason could figure it out.

or Matlock.

Apparently his dad cleared it with KHSAA. As long as he stays enrolled at Marshall Co, he will be eligible next season.

Marshall is playing Christian Fellowship from Draffenville.. They must be the newest member of the Grind Session for Dan Hudson.

If you close your eyes you can actually hear the theme music from "Benny Hill" playing in the background.

Possibly that school isn't affiliated with any state governing body and considered a club team?

I’m guessing that is the case if KHSAA has cleared him to play as long as he stays enrolled at Marshall County.

The Courier Journal ran an article on the situation.

Bella Vista is playing Life Christian, a Virginia team, on Friday at Marshall County. Zion's dad Mike said that Bella Vista has several upcoming games in and around Kentucky that are part the Grind Session circuit.

The CJ article also confirmed with the Marshall County superintendent that the KHSAA has ruled that Harmon’s eligibility at Marshall County isn't affected by playing for Bella Vista.

Maybe I'm missing something here but how does one play for a team in Arizona while being enrolled at Marshall County at the same time? :idunno:

Apparently Harmon is going to be playing for Bella Vista on the weekends, and attending Marshall County High School during the week. The interesting part about that is, obviously, how that allows him to be eligible next year at Marshall County while he is playing for a prep team this year, and why Bella Vista would want him just for games when he isn't actually practicing with the team.

Such an unusual bizarre case.
