Fill in the blank. What do you consider BGP?

I ask the question because in another thread someone said "BGP is a basketball board". I have never thought of BGP as basketball first. For me, BGP is a high school sports board first. That is how the site is described on the home page. For me, among the high school sports I think of it as a high school football board. Is that because that is what first got me interested and on the site? What do you think of when you think of BGP?

I came to the site because of high-school football.

I came to the site for High School football. But I stick around for the other discussions that happen in break room, controversial, etc.. I selected other because it really depends on the day and time of year for what BGP is used for imo.

High School sports site, namely basketball and football.

High School sports site, namely basketball and football.

This

I went with "Other" because I'm thinking "All of the Above" might be a better answer.

Heck, I come here for the Fantasy Football, TV & Movie, Controversial, and General Discussion just as much as the pro or college sports. I miss the Politics thread because it made me more knowledgable in conversations.

I came here for HS Basketball 15 years ago. Stayed because of everything else.

Winner.

I stumbled upon it many moons ago looking for Kentucky high school basketball info, and then got sucked into the rest of it over time through osmosis.

I generally view it first and foremost as a site covering all things Kentucky high school sports where the general discussion type forums have been effective in unifying its core members no matter which level, or type of sports they follow first.

I picked two.

"General Sports Discussion" and "Other".

My "Other" is "General Discussion About Any Topic Possible While Hoping Not to Violate the Terms of Service and Get Myself Suspended"

I originally came to the site in 2004 for high school basketball discussions. But I also enjoy college basketball and football.

For me its high school football first, then high schools sports 2nd.

It's a general message board that was started for High School sports.

I browse the football forum during the season and occasionally Boy's Basketball, but high school sports isn't what I come to BGP for. It's everything else.

General Sports Discussion plus anything else I grab onto

I original found this site due to high school basketball. While I still have some interest in high school sports, I wouldn't visit the site daily if it only contained high school sports forums. I'm much more interested in the general topics these days.

Clearly the site covers a wide range of topics. To me it is like an op ed section of a newspaper with ability to interact. I have spent many hours logging in and discussing many things. Great site with enough control to keep it from being trashy or offensive. So whether you desire a High School basketball thread or discuss a television story you can choose what you wish. Football dominates which I never visit but that does not make it a High School Football site.
