bugatti
Also, I believe the XII and XXII amendments block a Clinton/Clinton ticket. That is what I am thinking... Since Clinton (Bill version) is not eligible to be President, he is not eligibile to be Vice-President.

Covercorner
Also, I believe the XII and XXII amendments block a Clinton/Clinton ticket. It only is with the 12th Amendment. Last sentence says that no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice President of the United States. Frances Do you think that is one of those issues, like abortion, they want to bring out every election time but come legislature time, nothing really is ever done? LOL - it seems to me that something gets done every time money is mentioned in Washington, DC. The members of Congress get a sweet little pay raise, while you and I get the honor of seeing the influence of PAC's corrupt what may have been honorable men and women when they were civilians (or, maybe not). SilverShadow
If you listened to any of his comments lately is his statements that disagreement should find middle ground, compromise and COMMON SENSE. That we are a country of people who have common sense and that is why we are frustrated in this country. The bashing fury of extremists on both sides is burning too close to the middle. As for his experience or lack. Please recall one prior election, Kennedy. I was in Chicago when he won the senate primary and watched his speech with quite a few business executive (republican) and to a person, this man will be president. People stopped and listened. That was a much different time in our country's history. The media was different. The amount of information available is different. The election process was different. Listening to people talk about that time. I was born several years after his election, it seems people have a nostalagia view of that time that was not the true reality. nWo
I believe Obama would be the best hope for a minority candidate to win the presidency. I would vote for him.
