Fuzzy is a friend of mine. Woods could have helped Fuzzy after he apologized but chose not to. Fuzzy's career was basically over after that. Now I hope Woods career is over. I'll leave it at that. My last post in this thread.

 

Knowing you're a friend of Fuzzy, I understand where your coming from, even if I don't agree. And for what it's worth, I always liked Fuzzy. I'm not sure what else Tiger could have done. He played the middle, because there were a lot of people that wanted him to speak more loudly about the situation. Either way, unless there's a medical miracle, Tiger's career has for all intents and purposes been done since 2014.

Of course he was asleep with the car running and apparently with the car in gear and his foot on the break. While I guess it's not out of the realm of possibility that he had never taken that combination of pills before and had no idea how it would affect him, I struggle with believing that. Still, to me he sounds like a guy that's in a lot of pain right now, and that in itself is likely enough to affect his judgement.

 

Yep, it's probably not likely, but it's possible. He might have taken one less of something and one more of something and completely screwed him up, just don't know. No fan of Tiger, and actually I'd say I don't like him, but it's possible this was something he wouldn't have done, or have taken off driving had he known how it would affect him.

 

Again, as I stated above, if I had Tiger money I and I knew i was going to get into situations where i might not need to be driving, I got a dude with my SUV limo on call 24/7. Come get me/take me.

I don't know what meds he was taking, but I would be willing to bet they came with a clear warning by the pharmacist on the bottles about driving. A DUI is a DUI whether it is alcohol or prescriptions drugs. Given his years of back pain, he was no novice to the drugs either.

FWIW Fuzzy earned millions playing golf after the Racist comments he made when Woods won the Masters. Did it cost him money off of the course, yes and it should have. It didn't end his career by any stretch, nor should it have.
