The only two things of late have been the "Down The Hill" podcast & John Walsh featuring the case on his show back in April.  I haven't come across anything else.

There's a man that has "appeared on the radar" of investigators.  James Brian Chadwelll, age 42, was arrested last month for the alleged kidnapping, sexual assault, & attempted murder of a 9-year-old girl in Lafayette, Indiana.  That's 15 miles away from Delphi.

Interestingly, he has family in the article linked below, who believe that Chadwell is "absolutely capable" of committing the type of crime (in Delphi) and that he has an "evil streak."  His brother says that he "should be locked up and never let loose again."

The podcast "True Crime Garage" has released a 2-part podcast this week covering this potential update.

Saw this morning that the investigators in this case found a fake social media account that had communicated with one of the girls. The account used pictures of a male model that is not the person who actually had the account and preyed on young girls. 

Absolutely disgusting, but I hope that it leads to this case being solved.

The man behind the account, Kegan Anthony Kline, has been identified.  He was charged on 8.29.20 with 30 counts, including child exploitation, possession of child pornography, & obstruction of justice.

That was quick.  Weren’t they just asking for information from people who had contact with the fake account?

Odds are high this is the guy. Not sure there's a situation that exists where this is just a case they picked up while investigating and it had nothing to do with the murders. My guess is it's announced in the next couple of days that this is the guy. 

I really hope that's the case. I just can't imagine what it must be like to be a family member of these two young ladies and having to deal with so much unknown over the last couple of years. Fingers crossed.

I can definitely see some resemblance between James Brian Chadwell and both of the composite sketches.

Yup they are trying to tie something together.  They already knew who Kline was.

I must be getting more heartless as I grow older because I have never been a huge believer in the death penalty, but here I agree. That makes it 3 for 3 in recent cases as I felt the murderers of Arbury and Ghislaine Maxwell should both be executed as well.

This is a different suspect, reportedly the one that set up the Catfish account that ISP was asking about earlier. This guy was arrested less than two weeks after the murders on child porn charges.
