Nothing huge but a few updates on the case. The guy in the last post by his own admission failed a polygraph soon after the murders. When questioned by a 3rd party he says his dad may be involved.

I think they were close to a deal with the son and he backed out.

This is one of several reports on information gleaned from an FBI search warrant from just days after the murders. The focus of the search warrant passed away two years ago.

New info states that bodies appeared staged, two articles of clothing were missing from one of the girls, they were found on the targets property and he had asked a family member to lie about an alibi.

DELPHI, Ind. — Multiple sources indicate that a man named Richard Allen was booked into the Carroll County Jail around noon Friday in connection with the Delphi murder investigation.

Allen, 50, has been moved to a state facility for his safety, sources said.

Indiana State Police have announced a news conference for Monday at 9 a.m.

Looks like this is not the same guy that was named in news reports a few months ago.

Richard Allen, 50, is a Delphi resident who works at the local CVS. He was arrested on Wednesday October 26 and was formally charged with two counts of murder on Friday October 28. He is being held without bond. The affidavit of probable cause is currently under orders to remain sealed, and the police are continuing to play this one close to the chest as the investigation is still ongoing.

Not Guilty plea from Allen, who is reportedly not cooperating with the investigation.

Libby German's grandparents, Mike & Becky Patty, have confirmed that Richard M. Allen was the CVS employee who processed the pictures they printed for photo-collages at Libby's funeral, and that Allen gave them their prints free of charge.
