Investigators believe they're getting closer to solving Delphi murders

It's been just over eight weeks since the bodies of Abby Williams and Libby German were found near a trail in Delphi.

Police said they're still receiving around 100 tips every day.

Our sister station in Indianapolis, WTHR, said investigators think they're getting closer, and are confident they will solve the case.

Makes me feel like they have a pretty good idea who they are looking at/for at this point.

So one could wonder if they are holding him on the parole violation thinking they will eventually find evidence that he committed the murders. It's a theory.

If they have DNA evidence, wouldn't it be easy enough to test against his? Thus far the landowner has been dismissed as a witness, and that could be his picture, which could even be bad news if it is determined that he did not participate because then there is no video of a possible suspect.

Reminds of this case below.

Knew the prosecutor in the Donald Funk, Jenny Iles murder case in Convington years ago. They knew he would walk on the murder charges due to some poor handling of certain evidence. so they hung him with a bunch of other issues that would get him locked up for sure.

There was a story a few weeks ago where the Indiana State Police Spokesman seemed to hint that they were close to either an arrest or naming a suspect.

Sketch of suspect in murder of Indiana girls released - Cincinnati News, FOX19-WXIX TV

DELPHI, IN (WFIE) -

New information has been released about the murder investigation of Abby Williams and Libby German.

State police have released a composite sketch of a man considered the main suspect in the killings of the two northern Indiana girls.

Abby and Libby were kidnapped and killed near a trail in Delphi, Indiana back in mid-February.

Investigators released two grainy images in late February of a man they consider the main suspect in the killings. They also released audio of a male saying "down the hill."

ISP Sgt. Kim Riley says the sketch was created by an artist from information collected by all the agencies, including the FBI, involved in the double-murder investigation.

Anyone with information about the murders or the person depicted in the composite sketch should call (844) 459-5786 and can remain anonymous.

A reward of over $230,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the murders.

In other words the cops have no clue.

Have you seen this person? Wanted for questioning in the murder of 2 teen girls in Indiana and possible stalking of children in California. Jimmy Duvall He could be anywhere....was picked up by Indiana police and then released after giving his DNA. He has since disappeared. If you know or see him....contact your State Police immediately. Could be considered armed and very dangerous.

This guy is currently being sought for the murder of a 70 year old woman here in Somerset, is thought to now be in Indiana. Some similarities to the sketch below and the one supposed photo of the suspect in Indiana.

Getting ready to listen to a podcast about this case. Sure hope justice can be found.

More to the story than that, the guy has quite a history and some possible connections to Indiana.
