If you can force him to stay inside and force him to pass you have a shot. The defense is susceptible to giving up big chunks of yardage so if you can stop Lamar you win.

November 27, 20169 yr UK wanted it more, Louisville was deflated from last weeks loss eliminating them from the playoffs. That said, Kentucky was 7-3 to end the season after the 0-2 start with those three losses to Bama, UGA, and Tennessee. This team should be at least 9-3, IMO. Beating southern Miss should've happened as should have beating UGA, whom they were better than. Someone said it right earlier. Stoops isn't rebuilding a football program at UK, he's building one from scratch. With the schedule next year he may win 8 or 9 games, and Kentucky may be in a position from now on to consistently contending for 2nd or 3rd in the SEC East and in down years like this one contending for the entire division.
November 27, 20169 yr What a great game by KY. I didn't get to watch much of it, I was out and about and kept up via phone updates. I made it home just in time to watch the last minute. All day I kept waiting for UL to build a lead and for UK to falter, but it never came. I am as happy as a clam with the win and it is especially sweet knowing where this team was at the beginning of the year. For those of us on both sides that love this rivalry, it is always good to win vs the other, but so much more so when you are the underdog and you pull off an upset. One of the greatest things in sports is a rivalry and to the victor goes the spoils. Can't wait for the basketball edition of this rivalry. Until then...

November 27, 20169 yr Those around me at the UCF/USF game spent the 4th quarter of that game huddled around me watching this one on my phone. One of the ladies screamed, "GO CATS!!!" when MacGinnis hit that FG to win it. Brought some strange looks from others in our section.
