This makes my point rather than refuting it. We both know that we can spin information to fit our opinion. Mine is not opinion, just throwing out facts.

November 27, 20169 yr If true, how many of those wins are against SEC Top 25 teams AND in games where 2 overrated SEC teams are facing each other (assuring the SEC of a Top 25 win in each of those games)? Since it says non-conference wins I would say zero were 2 "overrated " SEC teams playing each other.

What about using current rankings. Clemson's win at Auburn has proven to be a really good road win even though the Tigers weren't yet ranked. By the same token, those teams with a win over a ranked Notre Dame squad have come to discover that it was fools' gold.

Fact: 6 (1, 5, 9, 11, 18 & 25) SEC teams ranked in the ESPN preseason Top 25. 4 (1, 13, 15 & 17) teams ranked in the ESPN preseason Top 25 before the final game of the regular season (and Tennessee is questionable to remain after this week). Only Florida has improved over season. Overrated. Fact: Texas A&M was ranked 4th in the 1st playoff ranking and now can't be found with a search warrant. Overrated.
November 27, 20169 yr Not even close. Louisville was out of the playoff after last week. I remember 2006 too well for this to even register on that scale. Didn't say we were still in the playoff chase.. If Louisville would have won that game on the road in 2006 still not sure cards play for the national title that year. As for me I could have lived with the two losses this season but lossing to the cats in a season where we we're in serious discussion of a national playoff is hard to take.. Only thing that can make this better is a win on Dec 21..

November 27, 20169 yr I thought I agreed with you about the SEC being down this year. I have no problem with that, but your opinion about the SEC typically being overrated is just your opinion, nothing more nothing less.
