Anyone that is trying to spin this as Workplace Violence here is my question for you...What is the purpose of recording the event with GoPro Cameras?

 

They were hoping to get this video on-line to spread the terror of the event...and who knows they may have already uploaded it in the time between the shooting and the shootout.

While I get that because the gunmen(women) were Muslim, where is the group claiming responsibility? This doesn't seem to be an ISIS threat, as to my knowledge they (nor any other terrorist network) have claimed responsibility. They are quick to claim responsibility.

 

I'm not saying it isn't terrorism. I'm just saying that at this point, it seems to be a domestic issue.

We still don't know whether the attack was (a) workplace violence; (b) had a religious component; © had an anti-American component. So let's put the Islamophobia on hold for a while.

We do know it was not workplace violence. This couple lived some distance from the holiday gathering location, on MSNBC this morning the expert said there was no way he had enough time to return home, dressed, made explosives, picked up weapons, wife and left child with Grandmother and said they had a doctor's appointment. This was premeditated and a terrorist attack. Call it what it is.

I'm not saying this may not have been a terrorist and/or religiously motivated attack, but I have to say...I'm confident beyond the shadow of a doubt that you can find some radical right-wing, doomsday prepper, militia types who have plenty of IED's and body armor of their own.

Scary times with the left importing 100k unknown Muslims into America. I hope they are okay with the fact that American culture isn't Sharia law. We eat pork here, say Merry Christmas, have Christmas trees, put American flags in public buildings. I'll grant you that only a small portion may or may not radicalize but in the meantime can I keep my guns?

Interesting. Back in the day, there was huge concern about allowing Catholics. Their religion isn't the issue.

Whenever we have one of these mass shootings, the conversation usually turns -- as it did here -- to the Ft. Thomas crowd worrying about "the government" coming after their guns and ammo.

 

We now have about 360 million firearms in the US of A. More guns than people. Thanks Obama. (Sarcasm)

 

Lack of gun regulation is a two-sided coin. Get used to these mass shootings.

 

This is in part because each time these shootings happen the first thing that the president does is go to the podium and call for stricter gun laws, yet gives no logic behind his rhetoric! As far as getting used to theses shootings, Obama says not to accept them as normal, sounds like you and I disagree with him on that.

People really need to wake up and see things for what they are.

I agree. My point is that this should not be assumed to be a Muslim terrorist (aka ISIS) threat.

Whether people realize it or not, calling for tougher gun control is no longer a losing proposition at the polls. Just a matter of time.

 

People like you have been saying this for decades. Hasn't happened yet.

 

Despite what you and those of your ilk want, gun ownership is a Constitutionally guaranteed right. Here's the thing, people with guns have defended your and my rights since the inception of this great nation.

 

You can't just pick and choose which rights the Constitution guarantees to defend. You must defend them all whether you agree with them or not.
