Do you think there are only white lawmakers in South Carolina? Or are they just bullying the black lawmakers to keep the flag flying?

The Gadsden flag is present-day political besides being historical.

Speaking of the Confederate flag still flying high in Columbia, S.C., while the state flag and Old Glory are at half-staff: Isn't that showing disrespect for the American flag? Isn't the U.S. flag always supposed to be displayed higher than other flags?

  • When the United States flag is displayed with the flags of states of the union or municipalities, and not with the flags of other nations, the federal flag, which represents all states, should be flown above and at the center of the other flags. 4 U.S.C. § 7(e).[15] The other flags may be the same size but none may be larger.
  • No other flag should be placed above it. The flag of the United States is always the first flag raised and the last to be lowered.

???

Glad you stand by your post. You type it you should own it, hence the good for you.

I always figured that Nike was a racist corporation.

i'd be willing to bet the coward kills himself before he is captured.

You owe me $100

Do you know HB20?

No would be the correct answer here.

No would be the correct answer here.

And that would be the same answer concerning if you know me.

I can't imagine what motivated this man to do this. I hope he is punished slowly but surely for many, many years before suffering a horrifically painful death...followed by an eternity in the depths of hell.

The death penalty is too good for this guy.

Seriously? Then you know nothing about how to conduct a proper protection detail. If you care to take time to look, you will see that most are all out of position and/or not doing other things properly, and it doesn't take many people to do it the proper way.

You are going to guard a very high profile suspect, giving him a vest, even though it is on all wrong and not a proper vest, and put your life on the line and not wear proper protection? Or somehow get the suspect to the vehicle with less people around? Do they not have a sally area? If not, there are still other ways to do this properly which is also safely.

Like I said before, they probably worked with what they had, and you are complaining a lot about nothing.

He's lucky he got a vest at all. You want him to have a level 1? Police officers don't even wear those. My guess is it's soft armor and that would mean there are no plates. Based on your weird rant, it seems like you wanted them to not only find him a vest, you wanted them to find him one that will stop rifle round, and get it fitted for him before they left. :lol2: Think about how ridiculous this stuff sounds.

Are you serious...You wanted them to construct a blind?

I can't believe what I'm reading.

Maybe you've had some training in protection, maybe you stayed at a holiday inn express last night, I don't know. But it looks to me like you are complaining about some pretty silly stuff based on one picture that does not show everything, when the end result was that everything worked out just fine.

And that would be the same answer concerning if you know me.

No one asked that question, but...yah...clearly.

What an intelligent retort.

Did you really expect any different?

I see there are lots of people today taking exception to criticism of "business as usual" in South Carolina.

Good.
