I dont think this one is close. Highlands wins big.

Last night OHS had 310 yards rushing and 102 passing with 60 of that on the final play. Big O-line triple option offense with several RB's although Lindsay didn't play last night

 

Thanks Brown...I look at this as good news for HHS as they are usually pretty good at stopping one dimensional teams. We will see in a week...

I think that type of offense is what gives HHS the most trouble. By that I mean HHS is great in space and open field tackling and their pass defense is terrific, however to me, it is the teams that go right at them that have more success. I know, it's not they are successful in the win column, just those offenses seem to do better.

Owensboro has moved the ball on everyone they have played. Even the Henderson game, but too many turnovers that game, and Bowling Green. It's no secret what they intend to do and most times they accomplish it. I understand Highlands can strike very quickly, and that will be the challenge. Hopefully it's a really competitive game.

Talk up the Birds all ya want but the Birds are still smarting from their loss last yr to Collins...

 

Highlands may beat O by 21 or more but it will because they are mad...real mad...

 

Highlands let their guard down last yr and did not prepare themselves thoroughly for Collins and they got beat. Last yrs lost is on the minds of alot of players and coaches and this yr will be different. :thumb:

 

The edge might have fizzled last yr but the Birds understand that they have to bring their A Game every game, for cryin out loud especially for the State Championship game...
