Well too late in the season for personnel changes. Or is it? I think Cooper can possibly stop one but not both. And stopping one creates other opportunities in the air.

With some of these players, coaches, parents never being in this position before, semi-finals, hopefully the Friday night lights aren’t too big for them. When was the last time either of these programs played on the Friday after Thanksgiving? Been awhile I’m thinking!

This is is getting chippy. Highlands can’t get caught up in it. NL is baiting them at this point. Be mad but call it as I’m seeing it! oh yeah 27-0 halftime

How so?

Highlands rolled in this game. But I agree they need to fix a few things. Always room for improvement. One thing that stands out is their discipline in not getting the unsportsmanlike penalties and personal fouls. They have literally disappeared since being addressed. Until Highlands wins state again, I would say they are back. Definitely in right direction. But these boys need to finish it and get Highlands back on top. North Laurel will nothing to overlook. They have some legitimate players and a great coaching staff that has them in the 3rd round of the playoffs. Just sayin!

Dixie putting together a really nice drive. Stat guy told me Dixie had 6 total yards in the 1st half. Wowza. wait, Dixie just threw a pick on the 5. Highlands ball!

Is Coach Eviston going to allow the frosh kids that moved up play in this game? Feel like this will be good for them to get the extra reps against good competition. Should be a good one either way! As always #SCIT

I’m hoping CCH let's the moves up freshman play in the game on Thursday. Those would have to be better competitive reps unless they are getting those same reps on Varsity. And maybe they are. Wither way, should be a good game next week.

Walked away for awhile. 57-6 Highlands with :29 sec left

Litmer kept Drive going with a nice scramble then throws a 30 yard td to Benke with :19 left in the 2nd 43-6

Nice screen pass from Scott down to the 10 for about 60 yard gain. But back to back penalties has them 1st and 20

Quick hit to sideline, TD highlands 36-6 with 4:12 left in the 2nd

Benke with a 44 yard td run. XP kick no good. Benke is sneaky fast! 14-6 Highlands

8-6 Highlands. Scott started 3 and out but Highlands returned punt to the 7. Benke scored on QB keep. Scott connected on about a 70 yard pass(not surprising) to inside the 10. And then passed for td.

Got to the game a few min late and it was 13-7 already. I asked several people if Highlands has improved a lot since CCH game because Highlands is in a groove no team wants to defend. Offense is rolling and d is getting it done. Most people said definitely looking better than against CCH. Oh, did anyone else see the Cookie Monster.
