WOFOJP61, who are the top contenders for the Woodford Co job?

It is Corey Crume's job to turn down. He would be a home run for the school/community/and program. However, the turmoil created by Central Office would make anyone think that they would have good support. They have many assistants that are highly qualified there,but I do not think that any teach at the High School.

 

Crume was a terrific player at Marion County years back. He's had limited success at Southern, but he's fighting an uphill battle there, especially in 6A. The Southern program does seem stronger today than it was before he took it over.

That's what I've been hearing as well. Good for him. Corey deserves first shot and the job if he so chooses it.

 

Marion the next two years should be pretty solid. They return most, if not all of their linemen, and while they were senior dominated at the skill spots (almost every spot on offense), they have a good core group of sophomores who have some definite talent.

 

I do know that their freshmen really struggled this year, both in overall talent and numbers. I mean...really struggled. I don't know that they scored a single point, but in one or two games and that's at the most. But, it's rural county school and those classes are going to come through. I'm not sure what they have coming up behind it at St. Charles and Lebanon Middle School's, though.

Not to sure. I don't have any inside on that stuff ; all I know is the name of one person that's put in for it. That is because he is a close friend, but he want the job bad, and was former player at Woodford. The job was just posted Tuesday, and will be open for 30 days they will have someone hired in time for spring ball according to the local paper.

Warren Central job is open..

Wow. What happened? Or just a case of the college vs high school game being totally different worlds than what was previously thought?

 

I know several who have gone from HS to college and done well, not so much the other way around. Best of luck, though to all involved (hoping nothing bad happened for thus to happen...illness, personal, etc).
