Open Jobs/Filled Jobs 2014-2015

Heard they contacted

Nate McPeek but wasn't interested, I'm guessing randy Vanderhoof is the guy your referring too he had tried to get other football jobs.

Yeah, I think it's going to take a better situation to get Nate. He is around more players at Tucker HS in Atlanta than most could possibly imagine. I don't want to speak for him, but I believe he wants to come back to KY, but like most that leave for GA, SC, AL FL...once you get around what they have down there, coming back and coaching in KY is just hard. (not speaking from experience, but solely what I've been told by just about everybody who has ever gone from KY to one of those states)

Can add Metcalfe County to the list. Just saw it posted on the KHSAA Open Jobs page.

Fred going to stay on as the AD? Thought he had another year or two before retirement.

I believe so.

Fred and Larry have both laid a very strong foundation at Metcalfe, but like most rural schools it is very difficult when you are competing year in and out with schools in the same class that might have 150-200 more students. I can assure anyone that applies for the position that it is much, much better position than it was when they started there. Best of Luck to Fred, great person and coach.

JTown has hired their coach from what I know, and Woodford should be open officially open soon.

In no order. 2C..and everybody else, my mess up. It's 22.

Post updates in this thread and I will make corrections.

Has Jtown or CJ announced the hire yet? Do you have inside sources? Don't know much about Coach Stonebreaker except googling his record. Is that the best they could get? Waggener is filled I believe.

Marion County should be interesting. That job can be successful IMO.

No inside sources except this thread... http://bluegrasspreps.com/ky-football-high/steve-stonebraker-named-296184.html

Yes Waggener is filled, I just didn't know who the hire was. Same with Union Co and Lynn Camp.

It is Corey Crume's job to turn down. He would be a home run for the school/community/and program. However, the turmoil created by Central Office would make anyone think that they would have good support. They have many assistants that are highly qualified there, but I do not think that any teach at the High School.
