April 10, 201412 yr For those who say Travis Ford, have you ever watched an Ok. St game? I mean, I'd probably take Rick "I couldn't take Kevin Durant and another NBA player to the Sweet 16" Barnes. I'd take Billy Clyde over Ford every day of the week and twice on Sundays.
April 10, 201412 yr Might sound kooky to most, but I'd love to see Jared Polson with his high B-Ball IQ take the reins and continue his awesome story as a Kentucky native living the dream. Sure, he'd need a bit of time to get his feet wet, but I've the patience to wait it out a little. Who knows, it might not take long at all. So you say he's not experienced like other candidates. So what? Ya gotta start somewhere. I personally don't need to see him earn his stripes some place else. Right at home is cool with me. I think that if would be awesome. I've never heard anything about him saying he'd ever like to be a coach, but I've no doubt that he knows the game inside and out.

If there were ever a guy on a recent Kentucky team to have a future as a HC, it's John Hood, not Polson. I actually wouldn't be at all surprised to see Hood stay at Kentucky as a GA next season.

The idea of a graduate taking over a top 3 job in the country the year after he graduated is mind boggling and comical. Man you Kentucky fans really love you some Polson...

I completely agree and said the same thing to my buddy the other day during one of the tournament games when Hood was carrying the clipboard.

April 11, 201412 yr Love Jarrod Polson. Not a UK fan. Great kid. Period. My son is a great kid but I don't want him coaching UK. I saw an interview with Polson the other day and was impressed. I agree PP he seems like a great young man.
April 11, 201412 yr ........ I'm really pulling for Michael Corleone's kid, he loves UK, is a great kid, and could really grow into the job.
April 11, 201412 yr ........ I'm really pulling for Michael Corleone's kid, he loves UK, is a great kid, and could really grow into the job. I could see this happening. All it would take is for his daddy to make Barnhart and offer he can't refuse. It worked for getting that kid the movie role.
