Look no further than Indiana for the answer. You talk to anyone from Indiana and they will tell you that they wish they had never changed. The interest level now is dismal compared to what it once was when they used to run it like Kentucky does.

 

That equates to less excitement as much as it does $$$

Ive often wandered how KY gets away with the All A classic to begin with, without offering it up for all the classes.

 

It's not a state event. It's an invitational tournment, just like many others held around the state. Just a tad larger and to be invited you must meet the enrollment numbers.

It's not a KHSAA sponsored event...it's more like the LIT but on a bigger scale that the state tourney in that respect

They"re not "getting away" with anything. A group of dedicated men not connected to the KHSAA at all put on the tourney for the smallest 120 (40%) of the schools in the state. If someone wants to have a tourney for the schools larger than this but smaller than the REALLY big schools have at it.

If that is the case why doesn't Indiana change back to one class?
