So easy. I place the bone side up in the crock pot. In the breast cavity I add about 2 t. garlic salt ,2-3 large sprigs of fresh rosemary and 1/2 stick of real butter. I add water to about 1/3 up side of turkey. Set on high and cook about 9 hours. Enjoy.

You cannot over cook the bird! As far as size goes, just look for a breast that will fit your crockpot.
